Hello
Hey everyone! I have not been on my blog in a while. It seems like i have been busy lately. I just had my 15th birthday last week and we had friends over staying the night. Then i have been trying to stay on top of my exercising. Me, my mom, and dad have been getting up at 6 am every morning and walking two miles, then when we get back i have been running three miles on the treadmill. Two or three weeks ago my mom gave me my first plyometrics work out. Whew! I could barely walk the next day. She had me do three reps of 12. It was tough. This week mom has me doing plyometrics every other day and the days i am not doing that i do an arm workout. Just trying to stay in shape so when it's time to really start training for track season i won't be totally out of shape. Do any of you runners find it hard to keep pushing yourselves come the end of a work out? I do. I find it very helpful repeating different quotes to myself and thinking about why i am doing it. One verse i have started saying a lot is: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.- philippians 4:13. I find it really helpful. Well i hope everyone has had a good month so far. Hello

Haha i love it! 
Well i have not been up to much lately. Last night me, my sister, and my dad went on a four mile bike ride. It was awesome. I love riding in the evenings. Feel the wind in my face, hear the birds chirping....so peacful. We rode down a big hill to the creek. That was fun but going back up the hill was not as fun. Though not as hard as it looked. Then when we got back i did a leg workout. I haven't been exercising as much since the homeschool track season ended but am trying not to stop completely. We'll see. Have any of you been reading lately? I have a little. Just finished two books. Well i am going to go for now.

Independence Day
Happy 4th of July!!! I love the 4th of july. This year we celebrated it on the 3rd with our church gruop because some of them had to work today. We played games and had fire works. It was awesome. But i don't like it when we celebrate the 4th on the 3rd and end up doing nothing on the real day. So this year we are having a pool party. The 4th of july means so much to me. It was the day that our founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence. Last night we sang patriotic songs. They are my favorite. What used to be one of our traditions was on the 4th me and my family would read aloud a book called Our Flag Was Still There. It is about the night that Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner.
Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light, what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched. were so gallantly streaming?And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore dimly seen through the mist of the deep, where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes, what is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep, as it fitfully blows, now conceals, now discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam, in full glory reflected now shines on the stream: Tis the star-spangled banner! O long may it wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
And where is that band who so bauntingly swore that the harbor of war and the battle's confusion a home and a country should leave us no more? Their blood has wiped out their foul footsteps pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave from the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave: And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Oh! thus is be it ever, when free men shall stand between their loved ones and the war's desolation! Blest with victory and peace, may the heaven-rescued land praise the power that hath made and preserved us a nation. Then conquer we must, when our cause is just, and this be our motto: "In God is our trust." And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Isn't is beautiful? Last night one of the men gave a speach. He read the Declaration of Independence and a few quotes on freedom and liberty. Here are a few quotes i found.

Hello everyone. I have lately bought and read another one of Ed Dunlop's books. I think i talked about him in one of my earlier posts. The book is called Phantom Pilot. It is really good. It's about a man who is an pilot of an Phantom F-4 plane in Vietnam. He is shot down and later captured. I highly recomend it. It does tell of some of the ways he was totured but doesn't go into to much detail. You should really check into his books. Not much is going on at our house today. We had a friend stay with us for a couple of days. While she was here we went running. It felt good to go for a run. There for a while me and my dad were going every day about two to two and a half miles. Sometimes three. But then with his job and all we haven't gone in a while. The homeschool track season just ended. The last meet was in may but to far for us. Even though it just ended i am already ready for next year. Well that's all for now.

Good afternoon everyone. I hope ya'll have had a great day so far. Mine has been good. Yesterday me and my sister were able to get pictures of Spitfire the black and white kitten.
Here he is laying on the swing. We (me and my sister) got him to lay there long enough to get a good picture.
Here he is being the cute cat that he is and climbing a tree. Thought is was a good picture of him.
Cats are my most favorite animals out of all the beautiful ones that God created.
Yesterday i started reading Eric Liddell's biography again. For those of you who have never heard of Eric Liddell he was an Olympic champion from scotland. He was also a missionary in china. He was born in china but his parents were scots. In one of his races he fell in the middle of the race. He got back up and started running and still won! Once he was asked how he did it. He said "I run as fast as i can for the first half and give God the second half." He was also a strong christian. If you are interested in learning more about him the book i am reading is by Janet and Geoff Benge. You should really check it out. Today my mom and dad have been working on my dad's office in our shop. So me and my sister right below me (who is 12) have been watching our littlest sister. Speaking of, she just started crying. Kittens
Good afternoon. It has been raining here today. We went to a friends house sunday and we got three of their kittens. They are so cute. One is white with a couple big orange spots. Another one is white all over but with a orange tail and some orange on it's head. Then last but certainly not least is a black and white one. It is the most energetic of them all.
This ones name is Remington. He was very timid at first but he is really sweet and is coming out of his shell.
The one on the right side is Angel. Both are boys. Angel may seem like a strange name for a boy but he is so sweet. Then the one on the left is Remington again. I couldn't get a picture of the black and white one earlier because he wouldn't stay still long enough for me to get a pic. But his name is Spitfire. And it suits him. He is a little ball of energy. We also have three other kittens that our cat had. They are grey. Two girls and one boy. The boy and one girl are bob tails. Earlier me and my sister were outside and we walked to our outside shower where all the kittens were napping. Our momma cat was laying in the chair nursing two of her kittens and Angel was also nursing on her. We were so surprised to see that our momma cat was letting one of the other ones nurse. I am so glad that she has adopted them. We thought that she would. Cats are my most favorite animals out of all the beautiful ones that God created. Hello all! We all have our favorite running brands. Our favorite is Under Armour. We like the look of their products. They have great styles to choose from and awesome colors. You can pick lime green, bright pink, or even camo. So there is something for everyone. Under Armour is what me and my dad wear hunting, and we love it. It is just simply our favorite. My day
Hello everyone! How has ya'lls sunday been? Mine has been good. We went to church, went grocery shopping then came home. Once it got cooler i did the elliptical trainer for twenty minutes. Then me and and my dad went running. When we run and it gets painful i just repeat this quote over and over to myself. "The man who can push himself once the effort gets painful is the man who will win." It helps me. Well I am going to go for tonight so i will talk to ya'll later.

My day

Hello everyone! I hope ya'll have had a great day. My day was good. Did school then just hung out around the house. I just got finished doing a work out off of Bodybuilding.com . I enjoy their workouts. Tonight i did a leg workout with squats, lunges, single leg barbell squats, leg extensions, and calf raises. Three sets of everything. When i do workouts i usually do a workout off of their site or i do one with my mom who also works out.

Hello! How is everyone's day going? Mine is good. It has been loud at our house. My dad is having a shop built and they started it today. Our kittens are inside sleeping right now. O speaking of cats, one of my cats had been gone for three days. Yesterday i went looking for him and found him near our creek. His eye is looking really bad. I have been doctoring it with miracle ii nutralizer and it is starting to look better.

Hello to all. I hope everyone is having a great day. My day has been good but uneventful. I have been reading a Elsie Dinsmore book. I have already read the series once but decided to read it again since it's been so long. They are by Martha Finley. Awesome books. Are any of ya'll animal lovers? I am! Right now we have eleven cats. Three of which are six week old kittens. They are so fun to watch. Then we have one dog and my sister right below me loves horses so we have two horses. Are kittens have fleas really bad. One good thing to do for that is to put Diatomaceous Earth on them and it gets rid of the fleas. Well I am going to get back to reading to will scat for now.

Hello to all. I was going through my book that I write all my favorite quotes down in. I found one that I didn't realize i had. It is this: "The winners in life think constantly in terms of I can, I will, and I am. "In order to succeed, we must first believe we can."- Author unknown. I find these so true. At least for myself. I always find myself thinking on what I could of done that day. Or that I should of given it my best. If we think positive and tell ourselves that we can win, and that we will win, we probably can. Or at least will have a better outcome. Rather to thinking, O I could of won if I gave it my best, or I don't really care. We must believe that we can and we probably will. Just wanted to share this.

books
Hi. Do any of ya'll out there like to read? I do! One of my favorite authors is Ed Dunlop. He writes very clean wholesome and great books for kids. My favorite series of his is the Terrestria Chronicles. They are very good. I have several friends who have read them also and really enjoyed them. Another really good author is Martha Finley. She wrote the Elsie Dinsmore series. A great series for girls.

Whatever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord and not to man. Col. 3:23 I love to run track but we live in the country and don't have many oppurtunities. I got to run in three track meets this year. It was awesome! My dad's friend told him our town might start a track program, i am excited about that. O and guess what? God was so good to me. We went to colorado in october. Well when we came back several of our cats were missing. One of them was mine and i was so sad. Well its been nearly seven months since then and tuesday my cat comes walking into the yard. Truly a miracle to be thankful for. Well i will scat for today so good night to all.
