Colorado Pictures Part 1

So in Septemebr we went to Pagosa Springs Colorado, elk hunting. We've been going there every year to elk hunt for the past like 4 years, and this year we finally got a cow!!!! (Which is a female elk) And we got her on our last day to hunt!! Dad got one shot at a bull, but it was a rushed shot since the bull didn't want to stop and check out dads calling. But that's ok! We were just happy to have finally gotten a elk! 

Btw I know it's kinda late to be posting pics from September, but I am just be getting to it so.... Here we go! 

This was our first day hunting. We called up a bull at 60 yards, but then a mountain lion came out and scared him off.

Mom took a quick picture before me and dad packed the rest of our camp up to where we were staying for a few days to hunt. 

Dad's elk he got on our last evening hunt!! It was a very quick thing too. We had a bull bugle back at me a few times but we could tell he was a ways away. Then all the sudden this big cow steps out and dad shot her all in a blink of an eye.
